Di-what ? Yup, Diaclones. This idea was created by Takara and the toyline suppose to be a group of "transforming" robots piloted by human ala Gundam. During a toy exhibition in Japan, a few representives from a small toy company named Hasbro saw the Diaclones toyline and got hooked, they wanted to bring the idea over to US to market, and Hasbro dubbed them.....no price for guessing, TRANSFORMERS. Not only it was a successful one, it also propelled Hasbro into a number 1 toy company in the world today.
