Take a look back into 2004 *sniff*

Ah...today is the final year of 2004 , there's one hour and 58 minutes left before the new Dawn of Wa...erm excuse me :P , dawn of new year's day , the 1st January of 2005 . Still , 2004 is just another year for me to endure anguish and stupidities , but there's some events that really cheer me up and recharge my morale . My coller coaster ride seem surprisingly smoother this year , even though there lots of familiar bumpy rides . Anyway here's my low-downs...

Worst moments :

For many times I nearly argue with my parents , espacially in studies . Sure they have every right in concerning about my schoolwork , I still quite pissed they way they treat me differently than they do to my bro . They can make up any kind of stories to continue the onslaught on me , espacially my status as "a principal's son" . I suspect some teachers is going to get rid of me by using me to ruin my dad's reputation so my dad will scold me for nothing :/ . If this situation continue I might get mad and do something stupid . Oh well , just like Daniel Beningfield's song : "I Gotta Get Through This" .

Mostly bad moments happen in school . My Math teacher was pregnant that time and she taught like shit . I was kinda lost confident on her . Luckily she will not teaching us by next week and replace by more experience one . The people ? Heh , most familiar assholes who had gone study in college came back with a cocky face and didn't put me in their eyes , as if I am a stranger to them . Oh well people come , people go , I am glad that they choose to ignore me anyway .

Yea yea this year I had tried chasing one new girl , so ? She was kinda pretty . Rose bud lips , nice body and kinda big compare to other girls . It took me a month to get close to her but things started to turn upside down . Another 3 new boys from other school took a week to get her to their side by.........demonstrates their handphones . Coincidentaly , she easily turned on by a handphone espacially when it comes to monotonic or camera phones . Since I don't have any interest in handphones , I just let her go :/ . It was abit sad actually , and it took some times to get things back to normal .

The world has only 24 hours worth of time and it seems abit short . I don't have the time to call my friends who study in other states . School usually end in 2 pm and I always come home very tired , still a pile of homework inside my bag calling me to touch them or else the teachers will continue the work rush in the next day . Some homeworks I can't manage to finish this year but I rather study other revision books that my good old chemistry teacher introduce me to .

My class mates ? Most of them are quite ignorant . They just don't like to volunteer to do something cause to them , being form 6 = free from all activities . this is quite stupid actually . Oh yea I had the chance to experience being fired as a class monitor , just like all those apperintis facing Donald Trump :P . It was quite shocking at first but at least I don't have to do lots of work anymore .


Good moments :

Hey I do have some good times too . First of all is Incubus concert , thought I never made it this year but it was quite a once-in-a-life-time chance for me :D . Got beat up in mosh pit , head bang till my neck hurts and jumped till my slippers broken , haha that was one memorable shit . Unfortunately I couldn't find Choon How , nice to hear his voice too :P .

During the visit to KL while waitng to attend Incubus concert , manage to meet my niece . She is 28 years old now and work as a programmer I think . We also exchange HP nunmber so we can call each other when we have time .

Last but not least is my cousins from Australia who stopped by 5 days ago . We talked quite alot of things , luckily they didn't get hit by the recent tsunami . And just now the uncle gave me quite a morale boosting words :

"Try hard , as long as you are interested in it"

I felt quite happy and cofident after hearing words . Now all I can hope is next week I can start my school day without any mishap , just like the miserable 2003 . Happy new year everyone !!

Cuci !! Cincang !! Bunuh !! (Part 1)

As Fazri requested , here's my 2 sen of Warhammer 40,000 : Dawn Of War review . Warhammer 40,000, created by Games Workshop is a famous futuristic tabletop game which is all about....well , WAR . Originally , there are 6 or 8 (which I lost count) races to be choose in the warhammer universe , but in this RTS (that's Real Time Strategy for you) game , it only features the well known Space Marines , the heretical Chaos Space Marines , the warmonger Orks and the mysterious Eldar . But come to think of it , it's better to have less races in a RTS game ;) .

After installing the game (3 discs) , plus all the new patches (beware , the 1.10 and 1.20 patches are time consuming , so prepare for a long frustrating wait) , optimise the graphic option and I am ready to rumble , or get my ass kicked just like the previous RTS games I played . The intro for the game is awesome and brutal , you have got to watch it . The intro plays a group of Space Marines under heavy fire by the bunch of Orks while the Force Commander calling for reinforcement . The scene is so instense that you are standing in the middle of the battle and the blood really splattered on the screen when orks and marines collide . Allright enough of the intro , next paragraph is about the game play .

I straightly jump into the skirmish campaign , luckily for you , DoW offers tutorial for each of the race . it's quite a straight forward tutorial actually , so you don't have any problem with each of the races once you go throught the tutorial . First is the resource , which I surprisingly found it to my liking . Unlike any other RTS , you have to order your servants to collect resource awhile you have to worry both the resource and your troops , in this game , it's all about requisition point , which is the ONLY resource in any battlefield . How to capture it ? Just take your scouts and order them to capture it . It's obvious that it takes time to capture a requisition point , so the bigger the requisition point(or they called it Critical point if it's larger) is , the longer it takes to be captured . Best of all , the point is UNLIMITED , but you have to capture as much as you can , cause they localted ALL OVER the map and the more you have , the faster your rate is and you have more resource to build a squad . Moreover , you can build a listening post to fortify your requisition point , except critical point .

Now about the units , they don't come in individually , they come is squad . And the best of all , but simply click the "++" sign , you will have another infantry pop out of thin up , which means the infantry was beamed down from the mothership above . A squad of space marines is made up of 4 people , and you can reinforce it till 8 people . Fret not , reinforce doesn't cost you any space , cause the game only count a first squad that you ordered . Which RTS doesn't has weapon upgrade ? But this one is very unique , you equip your squad of marines individually . You can equip them with flame thrower , heavy bolter(like heavy machine gun) , pulse gun or rocket launcher , it depends on your taste . On the other hand , you can have one force commander on your side too . Force commander is one of the heroes in space marines . Wielding a large warhammer , his long health can cause problem to other enemy units . One swing of his hammer and send any nearby units flying . Oh yea I forgot , there are 2 bars under each squad : health(green) and morale(blue) . Morale is important cause if your morale drops , the squad will take more damage , so becareful while taking your squad to attack and don't do anything stupid .

The camera angle is more interative than WC3's . By pressing the "ATL" key and your left button , you can view the battlefield in 360 degree . Plus you can scroll in and out too . It's a great option for viewing your troops in detail . Another unique feature is the way you can set any tactics available on your squad . Ranged or melee attack , you plan it . The AI in this game is expected-ly tough . Even in standard difficulty , I have problem dealing with their scout units (I am so lame :p) .

The beauty of bored

It's quite bored for a few days now . Just afternoon bought a small white colour paint so I can start my so called "hobby" on colouring the Space Marines miniatures . I keep reminding myself not to flush my money down the drain by abandon this "hobby" . Infact , this interest started to grow on me since I played the Warhammer 40k : Dawn Of War demo . Nothing to blog for now , only anticipating Stephen Chow's new movie Kung Fu Hustle . I love that bastard . :D

Character of the day : Lau Fu Zhi @ Old Master Q

Oh come on , everyone espacially chinese should know this guy :p . Okie let's start from the artist named Wong Chak , he is a creator for this middle age man . Surprisingly he can use his both hands to write his name !! Want the proof ? Just go and find the "Old Master Q 3D" , where he made a cameo appearence at the early part of the movie .

Who said Old Master Q comic is only available for mandarin speaking people ?! The action is so easy to understand even non-chinese or "banana" people don't know what the title means to them can find themselves laugh their butts off . Every episodes (4 or 8 images per episodes) never fail to tickle your funny bone or impressed you with his antics .

But Old Master Q is not alone . He has 3 other friends with him to make you laugh for more . First off the Ta Fan Shu @ Potatoe Head . Who is he ? Well , he is short and....has a head shape like a potatoes . Chen Sien Shen @ Mr. Tan . Well he's just a plain Mr. Tan but you gotta love his reaction espacially he got surprise , his hair will jump up . The last one is Kuang Tou Lao @ Mr. Baldy . He's bald and sometimes he nice to Old Master Q but he also likes to bully him too . To sum the character up , Mr. Baldy is unpredictable . There are lots of familiar characters like Miss Tan , who is Old Master Q's so called girlfriend , while the other are quite unknown , the character who mades the lest appearence is Old Master Q's niece . She big , strong and fugly :P .
Old Master Q is not a violent comic , even though Wong Chak mostly draw somewhat gruesome injuries . The funny antics in the comic make you laugh and almost forgotten the gruesome part , and you can even laugh at it . Anyway here's some of the comics , enjoy :P .

Learn to swim , learn to swim , learn to swim , learn to.....

For the past 2 days there were lots of activities during the massive flood , these are the activities I seen around my residential area :

Catching fish
Splashing water around
ride boat across the water
"jet-ski-ing" with their motorcycle

Infact , yesterday I was doing the fourth one and it was fun getting your legs wet with all the muddy and dirty water . Riding across the flooded lane with motor is like jet ski-ing across the sea , the feeling is "awesome" . But today the water dried up really fast , I will "missed" them :< .

By the way , there are strange things to see in the flood scene too :

Even a school near by my house also got drowned up as deep as my thigh or hips . Lots of rumours flying around that someone caught a large Keli fish in the flooded school , I ain't shitting you , man ! Oh well , today all the water start to dry up , activities will be back to normal .

Making babies......not .

Eyes-rolling thread of the night : Almost everybody claim themselves they won't have children or getting married in the near future .

So for many years have been listened to young adults (but the fact is mostly ladies whine about it) complain about not to have babies in the future , whether they are marrying or not . For me , those who made the statement above are plain immature and hypocrite .

First thing first , I KNEW its your right whether to have children or vice versa , I am not stopping you , or even curse you for not putting your reproductive organs in good use . The problem that people overlook is they just can't keep their words .

Look , children are generally naughty , they are annoying , easy to cry , easy to be hurted and the list goes on . It's a nightmare for those who wanna start a family . Think about it , it's a price to pay for people who like some noises in their life . I would like to see those assholes suddenly got married in the near future and start to crap about having lots of offspring , I will not hestitate to bash them in front of the public . I admit I too don't like children but what the hell , they are just small kids and you can do nothing about it .

Somehow people just can't think before they talk , pumping their chest with confidence that they won't have any offspring . We shall see.........

Listen...here comes the water.............

Finally reached my home this evening and boy , it was worst than the 1994 flood . My dad's school got turned into a "city on water" , the Sultan Yahya Petra bridge , which is the only bridge that link Wakaf Bharu to the main town , had to be closed down cause one Sand digging ship which weight a round a thousand tonnes , crash towards the bridge and is swinging according to the rumours :S . Furthermore , the whole town , except mine , had no electricity and water supply for the moment , damn that suck for them .

Anyway , I took a break in Alor Setar for 3 days , buy only 4 DVDs and an album (Gwen Stephanie's) , and I also brought some Warhammer 40k miniatures and a couple of colours and brushes too , and I will get ready for some serious eyes torturing painting . Since I am so hype about Warhammer :o ? And yea lately , there are tonnes of P O R N DVDs and every shop , mostly asians i think . And one title caught my attention is You Fuck I Shot ;p , sound corny , isn't it ?

Anyway , it seem that I can't go out (which I am lazy anyway) for days or even weeks , so I have face all those books again . What to do ? This is my freaking boring life . My relatives gave me a whooping RM 250 , dunno why they are so kind to me but thanks alot . I kept them in my safety box , and wait for Chinese New Year ;) .

My my it's so thick

Yesterday bought Cradle Of Filth's Nymphetamine . And guess what ? This time its small booklet is T H I C K !! Compare to other previous album , this is the thickest booklet I ever seen . It finally contains lyrics for us to read those "satanic" contents . Great effort from COF again , will listen the entire album if I have time today .
