Shark fin soup and me : reloaded

6 days before I can touch the precious soup , things started to pick up pace . Last 2 nights my parents went out till 11 pm or even midnight and came back with loads of spices and "manisans" to prepare for the "main event" .

School authority has ordered us to decorate our class to show that we are in CNY fever , which we don't have the mood at all to do so because of the exercise-laden subjects . More and more kids got de-merited between 27 and whooping 50 points , I bet that those teachers take advantage of it just for their sweet revenge .

This is the end of my first game-less month , and there are 10 months to go before STPM and another 5 months of post-STPM anarchy . Still a long way to go , and lots of detailed subjects to finish . Tomorrow there will be one ceramah for the upper 6 , which the main subject is....you guessed it , post-STPM future . So here's what I am expecting from the "talk show" :

1. Form 6 is about hard working , not honey-mooning
2. Straight As is direct proportional to great universities *rolls eyes*
3. Don't panic while sitting for the exam
4. Start doing revision now like your future depends on it (whatever.....)
5. Lots of "bisik-bisik" among the upper 6

I always feel cynical when it comes to education , and yesterday it confirmed my feeling . Two writers wrote about how straight As doesn't guarantee success , and the irony was they boldly added their PMR and SPM result . Yes , both of them scored straight and they were quite happy about it . A hypocrites they are...........

Oh the irony...(top 5)

1. A boy call on teenagers to get active in local politics while he's study somewhere in Australia .

2. A boy try to impress his female friend by taking her little puppy as his pet , while accuse his own family of being cruel for sending it away . Infact , he never has any experience of having a pup as his pet before .

3. My dad's engine broke down in the middle of the bridge even though he always get his car service regularly .

4. I got yelled by my mom after I helped her washed up the floor .

5. I am still sitting in front of my PC while I have promised myself to revise chemistry today and try not to touch my PC .

Crash Boom Bang baby

I always criticise the drivers whose cars suddenly break down in the middle of the bridge for not getting their car service manually , but with a sudden twist of fate , it was my dad's turn :/ . In a beautiful Friday morning (yesterday) , his car suddenly broke down right in the middle of the bridge , causing a massive jam here . Gee that means sooner or later it will be my turn :S . The strange thing is he always get his car check up every 3 or 4 months , according to the service date actually . And wait , I have a second thought about this , I don't think his car broke down , his petrol is empty .

Seriously , during thursday when I was ushering his car into my house , I noticed the petrol meter pointed the capital "E" , I wonder that if he ever remember to fill up his petrol tank . Anyway back to the incident , the road was clear during the afternoon , and I went out to buy lunch , as I passed the same bridge , my dad's car just got towed to the service shop , what a shame :( . Infact , I didn't want to bother my dad when he came back , as he had stuck outside for merely 3 hours .

Rumour that his car will be function again by today , I hope it is , cause I also need a transport to go to school tomorrow .

Shark fin soup and me

There will be 8 days left before I can lay my hands on shark fin soup and welcome the year of the chicken into our life in the next day . Strangely , CNY celebration seem a little...quite . My relatives in KL will not come back because their son still in National Service (dang , I will be missing his art of swearing :'( ) , only my 2 nieces and one nephew , who also stay in KL , come back to visit us . Also , this year we don't have to eat out again , which have been our so called "tradition" , my grandma gone "nyanyuk" and messes alot of things up , and we can just left her alone in CNY like this , so we will have our reunion dinner at my house , how pity.......

The force of CNY is still weak in this town , even though most of the supermarket have decorated their building with anything red and gold , include the main icon : Chicken . Maybe by next week all chinese will start to buy spices and cooking material for the preparation for the reunion dinner . I can predict that it's going to be a massive jam , and I hate it . CNY-themed songs going techno and they all sound crappier than I thought , I feel more moody than happy when listen to the theme songs .

Yesterday one chinese astrology expert said that according to a chinese horrorscope , those who borned in the year of the Tiger will have a good year ahead , yeah fucking right . every year I hear any of the "expert" saying the same thing about the Tiger , good year this , good year that , and almost every year there are countless mishaps fall on me , from studies to relationship . What the fuck ?! I should have played God and shoot them down myself , one by one . If only I am Bruce Almighty . *I Got The Power - Snap starts to play in the back ground*

Let's go chop some , cows shall we ;p ? Anyway all Muslims around the world will travel to Mecca to take a walk around the mystery-looking rock that hided behind the black veil . So wish them luck while travelling to Mecca as sometimes stampede will occur without them expecting it .

Anyway , I would like to know if there's any toyshops or hobbyshops sell Warhammer miniatures ? Just spam here if you have any infos about them . What I am lack is the colour a miniatures required and the skill to colour them :S . That's all for now , time for lunch .

Idol what ?

So the American Idol has returned , huh ? I gave up after I watched the first 2 episodes , 2 words to describe this : t's annoying . The contestant are getting whinier , more denial and plain stupid , and it's all that fucking William's fault .

Even though most of them sing really good , they are just ripping off Christina Arguleira's vocal box , it's getting bore fast after 3 or more people using the same voice at each city . I also can see Simon's frustration when the contestants sing like a pigs and tell him to fuck off . So the verdict ? It's forgettable anyway , lots of empty promises . :/

Phew it's been 2 weeks now . Nothing to rant actually , just to let anyone (oh well , there's no one reading anyway) knows that I am not abandoning my blog yet . Laters.....

How pity , I fight like a cow -_-"

Things went on as usual in school . Being picked as class's assistant monitor and a so called "Wakil Rakyat" upper 6 for my house team in co-curriculum . Moreover , situation turned abit ugly as somebody changed the plan that we should clean up our class right after school instead at 3 p.m. . Well I got one impatient mother to send home but I also have to face their wrath for being absent during the class cleaning :/ . A promise is a promise , I decided to send my mom home then came back here to help them . Infact I had told one of my friend to inform the one who responsible for this shit that I would come abit latter . So when I returned to my school and rushed up to my class , they were finished -_-" . Some remaining mates stared at me as if I am an outsider who came stepped into the wrong room . They asked me why I went home and other question that annoyed me . In the end , I went back home , grumbling .

After thinking for some times , why we need so many people to clean up one small class actually ? I doesn't make sense to me that 34 people is cleaning up a room that as small as a storeroom which barely even fit the number . Somemore one student yelled at me that I SHOULD stay back , while that asshole didn't really wanted to help anyway when I was a monitor last year . Now then , I had give them the impression that I run away from my responsibility :/ . So what ? I wonder that didn't they themselves also a bunch of whiners who didn't like to volunteer to do certain task last year ? Hypocrite......

I would like to see how ignorance they are tomorrow morning .
